This works like magic.. No other powder like talc, or any other powdered cleanser works, only Bon Ami..

Natural Flea Control

What You Need: comb (human or dog comb
                                         jar of Vaseline
                                          Roll of toilet paper
                                         Plastic bag

Dogs and cats really enjoy this 'grooming'. You have to carry this proceedure out a number of times repeatedly, until all the fleas are gone.. Then just check your pet with a comb every now and then to make sure no new fleas are present. You also need to carry out the additional step below to get the fleas out of your house...As for getting them off your pet, do the following:Have your pet stretched out and relaxed on bed or floor. Put a dollop of Vaseline on your finger and start combing against fur (so skin shows) especially on back, but all over. Then have your pet roll over and check belly area by sight (no combing) and especially in folds of skin under paws. Check paws thoroughly as well. As soon as you see a flea, quickly tap it with your Vaseline finger, using enough Vaseline so the flea immediately gets trapped in it and can't jump. Then wipe your finger clean in a square or two of toilet paper and throwthe crumpled toilet paper with the dead flea in plastic bag.. Keep doing this until you see no more fleas.

To get fleas out of your house, you and your pet need to start taking brewer's yeast. If you don't like the taste, take the tablets, and just put the powdered brewer's yeast in your dog's food. NEVER give your pet commercial pet food (this most recent tragedy of the tainted pet food should scare you away from this crap for life.). Click this link for more info http://www.nexusmagazine.com/articles/petfood1.html

Also if you can find some peppermint scented lotion, apply it liberally to YOUR arms, legs, etc. on going to bed. Follow the next step ONLY if you don't have roaches as well. Fleas are blood suckers and won't eat the following, but it will be a feast for any roaches. Get a box or 2 of cornstarch.. Make a powdered mixture of about 20% brewer's yeast powder and 80% cornstarch... Liberally sprinkle this mix all over upholstered furniture, beds, and carpets. Then cover with clean sheets or plastic tablecloths so you don't track this stuff all over. Fleas are exo-skeltons, so if the scent of the brewer's yeast doesn't make them leave (they hate it), the fine particulates of the cornstarch will enter their bodies and kill them. After 4-5 days, vacuum up all the powder, shake off sheets and wash sheets... The fleas should all be gone.
